I encourage and would really appreciate links to my site from yours. If you do link to my site, though, all I ask is that you don't imply that our sites are affiliated, or that my site is an extension of yours. Please don't put my site, or part of my site, in a frame on your site. No offense intended... I may love your site! It's just that I have to set a policy based on the "baser sort" out there, and not necessarily based on what I would like to be able to say.
Outgoing Links
There are a few links on sbcjr.com that will take you to other sites. Please understand, my linking to those sites in no way says that I approve of or endorse anything at all on those sites. I differ with everyone on something. Please use caution and discretion anytime you leave sbcjr.com, and for that matter, even while you're here on my site!
I don't exchange links. I am very selective in the sites that I link to from sbcjr.com. If you would like me to link to your site, contact me, and I will take a look. I include links that I believe will be helpful to my site's visitors, but I don't link to every good site that I find.
Terms of Use
You are welcome to browse sbcjr.com and use the services provided. I would sincerely ask that you not copy anything- text, graphics, code, audio/video, or information- without my consent. This content is copyrighted, and unauthorized use is illegal. Just a note: I'm easy to get along with.
Privacy
I have no desire to know anything about you that you don't desire to tell. I don't attempt to collect personal information, and the info that you voluntarily provide, whether through the store, or the contact form, or your use of my site, is never sold, bartered, pawned, or donated to any charitable organization or other third party. And I don't use it for personal purposes. Don't you feel better?
I must add, though, that if you follow a link to another site, I have absolutely zero control over their privacy policies. Mine only apply to your activites on sbcjr.com.
Cookies
In extremely simplified (maybe over-simplified) terms, a cookie is a name that my site gives to your browser. Your browser then holds that cookie up for my site to see every time you go to a new page. This differentiates you from all the other people on my site, obviously, so you don't end up with someone else's shopping cart, or something along those lines. The cookie does not send any "personally identifiable information" to me. It in no way violates or compromises your privacy, and it does not negate or contradict the privacy policy found above. Cookies are a necessary part of online shopping, and at sbcjr.com they are 100% clean and safe.
Refunds
In the store, as you will notice, I don't sell tangible items. This complicates the idea of a refund policy. With that said, I do have a refund policy. This site is a means to an end, but you are not. I am not satisfied with a transaction if you aren't. If you purchase an item from the store at sbcjr.com, and there is reasonable evidence that the item was not as described, or that the description was misleading, or that the quality of the item or service is sub-standard, and you feel a refund is in order, you will erase and dispose of every copy of the downloaded item, if downloadable; if a service, such as (but not limited to) site design, you will relinquish all rights to and ownership of the product or service; and I will provide you with a full refund of the monetary price paid. This refund will not include compensation for time or energy lost, and will in no case be no more than was originally paid to me.
